Aamantlan

The Skyhome, where the gods keep. Its light is the measure every other brightness is set against.

Lat. IIILong. IX

Aamantlan, the Skyhome, is where the gods of Areshnaat keep. It is not a place on any chart. Mortals do not go there, and the few reports of it are inferences from the sky rather than accounts of arrival.

It has a light of its own. That light is the measure the pantheon is described against: Aavaraya is called so bright that even the light of Aamantlan does not shine through him, which is a statement about Aavaraya and, incidentally, the plainest thing anyone has recorded about the Skyhome.

The gods are not confined to it. They keep there, but they come down, and when they do they are met in Ereslim — far enough east that most mortals never test the claim. Sailors' accounts place the gods' dwelling in Ereslim itself; that is what the east coast believes, and it is incomplete rather than wrong.
