The Gobifalantes are depicted as an East India Company-style seafaring trade culture, with their own trading company (a "Companhia Marítima Gobifalante") — likely the direct ancestor of the "Goblin Exploration Guild" referenced elsewhere in the setting (see Paktonyelv).
