Term Definition
Areshnaat (Areshatlas) Current name for the setting; continuous lineage from Eoferan (2023) through Perimoria (2023-04 onward). Matches the areshatlas Vercel project.
Eoferan The setting's earliest working name (Jan 2023) — same WUBRG pantheon structure as later Perimoria, but entirely different nation names.
Perimoria The setting's second working name (Apr 2023 onward) — where the current continent, conlangs, and deity roster were locked in.
Egunjain A region, not a world-name — the Dwarven Kingdoms' far-northern homeland.
Ooxapyotl Supreme/detached god of the pantheon; unseen for generations, entombed at the center of the orbits of the five moons.
The Five Mothers Alarisse (White), Luminara (Blue), Noctyra (Black), Ignissa (Red), Sylvanna (Green) — the five goddesses beneath Orystria, each with a Right-Hand Son.
Najmii Empire Arabic/Moorish/Latin-coded empire anchoring the setting's ~17-polity continent.
Sil'K'uhlam Empire MesoLatin (Maya/Aztec/Roman)-coded empire in the Tezcalar region, druidic practices.
Kasbahya Arabian/Turkish-coded halfling culture, underground kasbahs, home to a thieves'-guild.
Dwarven Kingdoms Three realms — Emerald, Garnet, Onyx — in Egunjain, under a supreme "Emperor of Gems."
Karakeel Per author clarification: the dwarven language by the Areshnaat era, not a kingdom name.
Paktonyelv Trade language of the Goblin Exploration Guild; Hungarian-filtered Spanish.
Bocafalante Goblin (Gobifalante) conlang; Hungarian structure, Portuguese vocabulary.
Kovács Hobgoblin conlang; Hungarian structure, Russian vocabulary.
Eladrin Former Fae-army soldiers, left behind in the material plane when the Fae were exiled to the Feywild after losing an ancient war against Giants and a "Dragonhorde." Conflicts with The Age of Poking Things's later origin myth — unresolved, see that page.
High Elves Japanese Edo-period-coded elf culture; source of the setting's four-moon calendar. Per The Age of Poking Things (2026), uplifted from Australopithecus-like proto-hominids by a reckless Summer Eladrin naturalist — the "Year of the Apology" scene.
Maktaba Fahm Hikma "Library of Understanding/Wisdom" — the in-world scholarly institution behind the formal sapient-species taxonomy.
The Four Moons White, Red, Green, Blue. Red, Green and Blue run locked in the near sky; White is near-identical to Earth's own moon, a little closer in, and keeps the months at 28 days full to full.
