Fortress hill. Hill citadel in Kedantlan, built as a hill citadel.
Name
- Listed as Metsadtepec, from metsad + tepec.
- Under the Xibanal rebuild this becomes Tzivadtepec, "fortress heights" (root tz-v-d, suffix -tepec).
- Why: m- is a Hebrew noun prefix; e is not a gender vowel. Tzivadtepec is already in dictionary v2.
- Status: provisional until ruled.
Height
The listed 1,717 m comes from the fine survey (about 925 m cells). The region grid (about 7 km cells) averages the summit down to about 1,100 m, which is why the Kedantlan page gives that as the region's high ground. The citadel figure is the better one.
