Kasbahya

Revision 1 of 2 — sync: publish latest codex content

Lat. IIILong. IX

Overview

An Arabian/Turkish-coded halfling culture, known for underground kasbahs, bustling bazaars, and a decadent, trade-and-craftsmanship-driven lifestyle. Strong sense of community, with a prominent thieves' guild operating in the shadows.

Society

Follows a pantheon of deities representing different aspects of daily life (not yet reconciled against the main Areshnaat pantheon — see Orystria). The thieves'-guild culture is explicitly Ottoman/Moroccan-coded in its visual design, led (per an early design pass) by a masked halfling woman leader in the vein of Ra's al Ghul.
